Talk , Practical Teach in & Competition - The Basics Of Horse Obstacle
For any size of horse but based on the American Miniature Horse Association guidelines for Horse Obstacle classes. There will be a short classroom session followed by a Practical teach in where you will learn very basic obstacles & manovers .
Then we will hold a basic obstacle competition with rosettes & prizes.

ROBERTSON HORSE TRAINING with Guy Robertson

Guy Robertson - Robertson Horse Training Guy has travelled extensively, and considers himself a student of horsemanship and great horseman. Guy has trained and started horses all over the world, including UK, Australia, USA, and New Zealand, recently Guy set up base in Rawcliffe Bridge, East Yorkshire.
Guy’s relationship with horses began when he was just 5 years old and was lucky enough to get his first pony, a very fat Welsh section A called ‘Topic’, for his 6th birthday.
Guy joined the pony club and tried a number of different disciplines including show Jumping and Eventing as he progressed from ‘Topic’ to larger ponies. In 1996 Guy was introduced to the sport of Polocrosse.
Polocrosse married his two major passions sport and horses and it quickly became an obsession with every weekend of the summer spent on the road going to tournaments all over the country. Guy represented the UK between 2002 and 2011, of which the last 3 years were spent as the Captain, in test matches against Zimbabwe, South Africa, USA, New Zealand, Australia and Holland.
Guy now spends all his time working horses at home in Rawcliffe Bridge and running Horsemanship Clinics and Demonstrations all over Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire. http://www.robertsonhorsetraining.co.uk/about.html

This course will help you to improve your chances of matching the remedy to your animal.
Day 1 – You will learn the routine use of first aid remedies – both preventatively and curatively
Day 2 – You will learn how in the treatment of acute situations you can help your animal, often alongside other measures your vet may use.
Day 3 – You will learn about more chronic and behavioural conditions and how to treat them.
Cost £70 for one day or £200 for all three days
Cost includes basic remedy kit – 10 remedies, booklet, file and notes. Classroom and stable exercises, observation, learning and practical applications. 10.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m. –Please bring your own lunch.
Tea and coffee is provided.
A non refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure a place
